Climate change already disproportionately affects the most vulnerable populations and communities. The SDGs link many of these challenges together and provide a holistic framework for business. But these all-encompassing and complex goals can be overwhelming and difficult to translate into a joined up approach on the ground.
In this session, we will ask our panel:
· To discuss how leading brands can align SDGs work to deliver on a more just decarbonisation transition
· Debate the role of human rights due diligence for engaging stakeholders
· Attempt to define a ‘just transition’ and assess what this looks like in practice.
· Assess how to align company approaches to ensure the SDGs are kept at the heart of climate strategy.
