You can’t always get all you want: Can campaigners and brand approaches to plastic become better aligned

Clock icon 09:00 - 09:45
Activist campaigners are highly effective in raising public awareness about plastic pollution. They play an integral role in driving sustainability and affecting business action. But it could be argued that campaigners often communicate an oversimplistic message to consumers. After all, these issues aren’t always as black and white as they seem.

In this session, we’ll assess how far apart campaigner expectations are from brand strategy and ‘business reality’. We’ll assess where the gaps lie and how these can be closed to ensure everyone is working towards the same goals.
