Land: Precision agriculture: Case studies of scalable solutions in action

Clock icon 14:30 - 14:30
Precision agriculture is an approach to farm management that uses information technology to ensure that the crops and soil receive exactly what they need for optimum health and productivity. The goal of precision agriculture is to ensure profitability, sustainability and protection of the environment.

In this session we’ll hear from PepsiCo and Unilever about how they’re using precision agriculture along their supply chains.

  • Have there been increases in production and profit because of the use of precision agriculture?
  • Which precision ag practices have proved to be most effective and can they scale to serve global supply chains?
