McKinsey has stated that the resale market could outgrow the fast fashion market by 2030. This is a tall order for pilot programs with little to no data on viability to scale and profitability. And while resale models sound like a no-brainer in the interest of extending product life, there is still little known about the sustainability impact of such alternatives. 

In this session, we’ll take a closer look at these models and discuss:

  • Do resale models actually reduce environmental impact? How can brands asses the true sustainability impact of resale programs?
  • Is it likely we will ever see brands move to reduce their production as a result of resale schemes?
  • How do brands guarantee quality and longevity of products on the resale market?
