Does “net zero” represent too narrow a target, to adopt as a business strategy?

Clock icon 12:30 - 13:00
When a corporate target is set for net zero, it sounds like the right thing to do. It probably is. But what if that goal creates other sustainability-related problems in the supply chain?

In this session we will discuss the potential unintended consequences of a net-zero approach to supply chain emissions. Will such focus on GHGs preclude considering other important impacts? This may cause those unintended consequences we all want to avoid? Perhaps there’s nothing to worry about. But history suggests otherwise.
