Webinar recording: Food, fashion, and farmers: Finding common ground on regenerative agriculture

Share

Watch the recording of our conversation with McDonald’s, Bowles Farming, Almond Board of California and Canada Goose to explore the intersections and opportunities in regenerative agriculture for food and fashion.

While the principles of regenerative agriculture aren’t new, it’s increasingly emerging as the industry buzzword, particularly in food and fashion.

It is celebrated as a pathway to net zero, securing fibre and food supply and driving positive social impact. Yet, despite ambitious commitments, neither industry has a shared definition nor standardized roadmap, especially when it comes to implementation across diverse geographies and commodities. For producers who grow our food and supply essential natural fibers, this ambiguity risks deepening existing barriers. Without clear guidance, financing and support, they face exclusion, fragmented interventions and missed opportunities to participate in and benefit from the regenerative transition.

We will explore the following key questions:

  1. How do food and fashion supply chains differ, and what can they learn from each other?
Can these industries agree on a shared set of core principles to guide regenerative and sustainable practices?
  2. What does regenerative agriculture look like on working farms?
How can brands engage more effectively to ensure it is fair, viable, and human-centred?
  3. Where do food and fashion face similar sustainability challenges?
In what ways can they collaborate to address these shared hurdles?
  4. What’s working when it comes to scaling regenerative practices beyond pilot projects?
How can proven approaches be scaled across different geographies, commodities, and industries?
