The 5th Room: Is Farm to Fork dead? What’s working, what’s not, and what’s next for EU agricultural policy.

13:30 - 13:30
Never has a “strategic dialogue” felt more ominous. The EU Commission is seemingly taking its foot off the Farm to Fork throttle, in an attempt to overcome the current state of industry polarisation.

Many actors across agri-food value chains rejoiced at the news. Others were less pleased, including a group of leading NGOs and academics who wrote to the EC to express their “deep concern”.

Whatever you think of the EC’s flagship food policy, it is clear its future is now less certain. Regardless, given the tidal wave of national and international regulation still coming into effect, business needs to be ready to react and adapt.

Join us in The 5th Room for a really honest conversation about the status quo and what needs to change to drive real progress. There are no speakers - instead we’ll ask everyone in the room to participate and to contribute their thoughts, their experiences, and their mistakes. Pre-registration to attend is essential as sessions are limited at 20 participants. Sign up details upon registration.
